Black Hills Spruce
This tree is a great substitute for Norway Spruce.
A dense, conical evergreen with stout, prickly, 3/4 to 1-1/4 inch needles. One of the most adaptable of the spruces, it prefers rich moist soil in full sun, and also thrives in dry, well-drained sites. It has a medium growth rate and will grow to a height of 100 feet.
